21 March (Reuters) On Tuesday, Microsoft Corp. (MSFT.O) released a capability for the Bing search engine and the Edge browser that will leverage OpenAI’s DALL-E technology to generate image creation from text input.

Users of the most recent AI-powered versions of Bing and Edge preview will get access to the feature, known as “Bing Picture Maker.”

According to a blog post by Microsoft, Bing Picture Maker will be incorporated into Bing conversation and will launch on Tuesday for users on desktop and mobile in blog post.

For users of Bing, the software behemoth also unveiled Visual Storytelling and Knowledge Cards 2.0. The features will provide information and important facts quickly using AI-generated images and more interactive elements like charts and timelines.
